Witches and Cookies

El día 9 de marzo todo el colegio de Riaño realizó una excursión a Guardo y a Velilla del río Carrión para realizar dos actividades.

Primero fuimos al Centro de Interpretación de la Trucha donde se nos explicó como identificar las truchas comunes, que poseen algunas características concretas con respecto a otras truchas, como por ejemplo poseer petequias rojas y negras, o que la aleta adiposa presenta un tono rojizo.

Después de aprender más de estas características de este pez, nos dirigimos a Guardo, para poder ver la representación que da título a este post: "Witches and Cookies", o lo que viene a significar, "Brujas y Galletas". Una obra interactiva en inglés que serviría para afianzar el vocabulario conocido y aprender  nuevo vocabulario.

El personaje principal de la obra es Paul, un niño que acaba de salir del colegio y que vuelve a casa para jugar con sus padres, pero al llegar a casa, se encuentra con que estos han ido a la ciudad y se ha quedado a su cuidado su abuela, que ha traído consigo a su gato Misifú.

Durante la obra hubo participaciones de distintos alumnos que salieron como voluntarios al escenario, además de varias canciones que bailaron todos los espectadores. Acabando la obra con una canción final y la despedida de todos.

Tras la obra, regresamos una vez más a Velilla, donde comeriamos en el parque que allí se encuentra y luego jugar todos juntos para acabar el día que tuvimos.

On the 9th of march everyone in Riaño's School had an excursion to Guardo and Vellilla del río Carrión, to participate in two activities.
First at all we went to the Trout's Interpretation Center where they explain us how to distinguish the comun trouts, which posees some specific characteristics respect other trouts, such as having red and black petechiae, or bit red in their adipose fin.

After learning about this fish's characteristics, we went to Guardo to watch the play that give name to this post: Witches and Cookies". An interactive english play that will reinforce the childre vocabulary and learn new one. The play's protagonist is Paul, a boy who has just finished school and go to home to play with his parents, but when he arrives at home he discover that his parents has gone to the city so he has to stay with his grandmother who has bring her cat, Micifú.

During the play there was a lot of participations from diferent pupils whogo up the stage as volunteers, and there were a lot of diferent songs which were danced by the spectators. Finishing the play with a big final song, and their farewell.

After the play we return to Velilla, where we eat our sandwiches, and after play for a time we return to the school.
