Plants and Seeds III

At least we finished the third experiment with the plants, none other than the experiment in wich the children plant their own plant, they water them by themselves and they take care of the seeds. The seeds were growing, and the children noted down all their evolution, drawing the plant throughout the days, and here there are the results:

Plants and Seeds II

After some days, we had finished the experiment we had been realising in Science with plants and seeds. The results hadn't taken too much time to appear. The plants without water, sunlight or air, estarted to lose their color, their flowers and even their leaves. Only the control's plant, wich had all the things plants need to live was the one that didn't change.

In the other experiment, carried with seeds, as we expected the seed planted in soil grow very well, and the seed in salty water, didn't grow at all, but surprisingly the seed planted in the rocks grow too, but only a little beacuse it didn't have the nutrients necessary to grow as a plant.

We hope the students had learnt more about the plantas, and about what they need to grow and to survive, while they enjoy this experiment.

Plants and Seeds

In Science we carry out different experiments, nowadays the experiment we are involved it's about plants and seeds. In this experiment, we have a control plant wich we water, it can have air and sunligth, all the things plants need, and at the same time we have another three plants, one wihout air, other without sunlight and other without water, the experiment consists in now how the plants evolve without the elements they need.

The other experiment is carried out with seeds, one seed it's planted in oil, other in rocks, and the tird seed it's planted in salty water. We are going to see what will happen with the seeds, if they will grow or it won't happen anything.
